Withdrawing without an ID: when casinos ask for papers before they pay

When you withdraw · first payouts, amounts and bonuses

Signing up without an ID is easy. Withdrawing without one is possible but never guaranteed: every casino we have read keeps the right to ask for papers before paying. What you can know in advance is what usually triggers that request, what each casino says, and how to prepare so it does not catch you with the balance held.

This is the page that matters most on the whole site, because the withdrawal is where a casino without ID either stays one or stops being one. Let us take it in parts: what the rules say, what triggers a verification in practice, and how to cut down the surprise.

A small withdrawal first. If it lands with no papers, you know something about the casino; if papers are demanded, you learn it before much is at stake.

What the rules say

These are the clauses on papers at withdrawal, at the casinos whose terms are readable:

No casino writes «we will never ask for papers». The best ones say when; the worst say nothing at all.

Section 8 of the Vave terms, covering withdrawals
Clause 8.7 allows papers to be demanded before any payout, with 14 days to send them; 8.8 pays winnings from 50,000 USDT in instalments over 30 days; 8.11 requires the deposit to be turned over three times before it can leave.

What usually triggers a verification

Beyond what is written down, these are the situations that set a request for papers in motion:

The first withdrawal. It is the first time the casino sees where the money is going. Rakebit turns it into a rule.

A large amount. Bitcasino.io draws the line at €2,500. Casinos outside our list use similar thresholds, from 2,000 to 2,500 in euros, dollars or USDT. Above those figures, expect the check.

A big win. Vave can pay winnings from 50,000 USDT in instalments over 30 days (clause 8.8). A win like that almost always passes through review.

A change of address or method. Depositing from one wallet and withdrawing to a different one is among the signals that trigger the most reviews.

A bonus. The first withdrawal after wagering is met is a classic checkpoint. And withdrawing with a bonus still running is simply not allowed.

Activity that does not fit. Depositing and withdrawing with almost no play, for instance. Vave requires the deposit to be turned over three times before it can leave (clause 8.11), precisely to stop the casino being used as a payment bridge.

The test withdrawal

The best way to learn what a casino will do is to ask it with very little money. Deposit the minimum, play a little with no bonus, and request a small withdrawal to the same address you deposited from.

If it lands with nothing demanded, you know how the casino treats an ordinary customer. If papers are demanded, you learn it with €30 at stake rather than €3,000. Either way you know more than you did, and without relying on any review.

If papers are demanded: how to answer

  1. Find the clause. Ask support, in writing, for the clause in the terms that justifies the request. A serious casino will tell you.
  2. Send only what the clause names, and only from the verification section of your account. Never over chat, email or Telegram.
  3. Check the document matches the profile: first name, surnames and date of birth.
  4. Note the date you sent it. If the casino allows a deadline, like Vave's 14 days, start counting from there.
  5. Ask what is missing if the deadline passes with no answer. In writing, with the date of sending.

Which papers to prepare, and how, is in what papers they ask for and in proof of address and selfie.

When to be suspicious

Asking for papers is normal. These things are not:

  • being asked to deposit more to unlock the withdrawal;
  • being asked for papers over chat or email instead of inside the account;
  • a withdrawal still pending with no deadline after everything was sent;
  • being asked for things no clause names, such as your wallet keys.

If any of that happens, send nothing further and keep every conversation.

Crypto withdrawals: the technical part

At crypto casinos, a good share of «held» withdrawals have nothing to do with an ID and everything to do with the network. Withdraw in the same coin and on the same network you deposited with, to an address of your own, and check the minimum withdrawal in the cashier. If the coins go back to an exchange, the exchange has already verified you: we explain that in crypto and documents.

The money takes a detour: euros to an exchange, crypto to the casino's address. Same coin and same network the whole way.

What happened at Vave

At Vave we made a deposit in crypto and collected two withdrawals, on 28 August and 2 September 2026. Neither time were we asked for papers. We record it because it is a real fact, not because it is a promise: clause 8.7 allows them to be demanded of you. The whole account of it, with Vave's withdrawal rules, is in the Vave review.

Questions readers ask

Can money be withdrawn from a casino without sending an ID?
Sometimes. We collected two withdrawals at Vave, on 28.08 and 02.09.2026, without being asked for anything. But every casino on our list reserves in its terms the right to ask for papers before paying, so it is not something to count on.
How much can be withdrawn without verification?
Only one casino on the list names a figure: Bitcasino.io runs extra verification on withdrawals above €2,500 (clause 6.6). The others give no amount, and those that do still reserve the right to ask below it.
What happens if papers are demanded and I do not send them?
The withdrawal stays on hold and the account is usually limited. Vave allows 14 days to send them (clause 8.7). If you do not want to verify, the sensible move is not to deposit.
